Interactive Plant Selectors

There are a number of sites which enable you to select plants by their characteristics.

RHS Plant Selector

Enables you to select plants by plant type, use, foliage, habit, awards, fragrance, features, season of interest, colours, height, spread, growth rate, soil type, soil moisture and soil pH, hardiness, aspect, sunlight and exposure.

BBC Gardening's Plant Finder

Similar concept to the RHS Plant Selector although has slightly different options (including skill-level required).

Crocus Online Garden Centre

Crocus's new site allows you to select plants by type, attribute and position.
