Raspberry canes are second in popularity only to strawberries in UK gardens. You can buy both summer fruiting and autumn fruiting varieties from these sources.

Ken Muir

Based in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex the Ken Muir nursery offers a number of varieties by mail order. These are divided into early Summer, mid Summer, late Summer and Autumn varieties so if you wish you can pick fruit from your raspberry bushes from early Summer through to the Autumn. They also sell a collection of raspberry canes and support systems.

Welsh Fruit Stocks

Welsh fruit stocks have been supplying fruit bushes to gardeners by mail order since 1991.  They are licensed fruit propagators  and will deliver them to your door as freshly lifted bare-root plants between November and March.  They can supply can supply organic raspberry canes as well as those grown by conventional methods. Organic bush varieties include "Julia" and "Mailing Jewel". The most widely grown variety is "Glen Ample" with its very high yields and excellent flavour.

Chris Bowers & Sons

This specialist fruit nursery, based in Norfolk, offers one of the widest choices of trees and bushes available.  They sell "top-quality ministry certified canes" including many new varieties. These new varieties include "Glan Magna" and "Himbo Top". They also sell many of the more established varieties including "Glen Clova", "Leo", and "Glen Moy".

Buckingham Nurseries

Buckingham Nurseries, based in Buckingham, has a well-established mail order business.  They sell a good range of bushes for early, mid and late season uses including varieties such as "Autumn Bliss" and "Octavia". Canes are sold in sets of 5.

Blackmoor Nurseries

This leading nursery has been supplying wholesale for more than 40 years, and now also supply trees and bushes mail-order to the general public.  Do check out the “fruit growers handbook” on their website which contains plenty of good advice.    They sell a range of summer and autumn fruiting varieties or if you prefer you could buy a "Summer and Autumn" collection which comprises 10 canes each of "Bliss" and "Prosen".

Thompson & Morgan

If you are looking for smaller quantities then you may find what you are looking for at Thompson & Morgan who sell in sets of 3, 6 or 12 canes. They also have a couple of raspberry cane collections including a full season collection which comprises 3 canes of 3 different varieties providing fruit from June through to mid October.
